Our business model is to build the best service concept in Norway. We hope and believe that we are successful doing so. There are almost one guide per boat at Camp Halibut. That means we have time for every single group in a way that could just not be possible if we were 1-2 guides on 10-15 boats. We are currently building an unbeatable team and we are bursting with pride when we are presenting our new incredible guides.

Daniel Eriksson
Administration and marketing
Founder of Camp Halibut and guide for many years. Has too few days at sea nowadays since the computer work and planning takes up most of the time. If you have any questions about anything regarning the company Daniel has the answers and usually respond very quickly. More or less retired from guiding unfortunatily.

Alexander Strid
Head of fishing
Alex dedication for the fishing has made him one of the best guides in Norway. As far as big halibut goes, very few people have a track record that even comes close to this guy. No one has more 30kg+ cod in the boat than Alex does the last couple of years. Alex is in charge of all fishing that goes on at Camp Halibut. His main task is to keep track on the nutrition and the fish in the sea. When and where you should fish to get the best results. He is in charge of educating and guiding our guides to make sure they know exactly how to put you right on the fish so that they are as successfull as possible every single session.

Fredrik Helén
Fishing guide och mechanic
Fredrik is a very skilled and allround angler that has been with us for two seasons. He has landed loads of nice halibuts for our guests including the camp record 253cm beast that Daniel had earlier this year. Fredrik will put you right on the fish and help you with everything. He has a fishing guide educution from forshagaakademin. He also have a lot of experience as a mechanic and is in charge of the boats. Service, maintenance and making sure everything works as it is supposed to. We are incredibly happy to have Fredrik on the team!

Andreas Lust
Fishing guide
Adde is a very skilled and dedicated predatory angler. He has spent most of his life hunting predators and has been a frequent norway traveler for many years. After four visits, loads of very memorable fish with a halibut measuring 215cm as the biggest in his boat we decided we should hire him. He got a new personal best halibut measuring 233cm the first session of the year and then got another 2m fish in july. So he has two fish over two meters and has guided an impressive amount of 180-190cm fish during his first year. We are incredibly happy to have Adde on the team!

Oskar Svensson
Fishing guide
Oskar is a very skilled angler. He has an incredible amount of experience when it comes to trolling for salmon and trout in the big lakes in Sweden. Very few people have better results than this guy even if he is only 24 years old. If you want to experience some of the most intense salmon trolling there is with an incredibly skilled guide, Oskar is offering that in the winter. He is studying his last year on the fishing guide education on forshagaakademin in Sweden an will be a full time guide at Camp Halibut from 2025. We are incredible happy to have Oskar on the team!
